Heilok is a dietitian, PhD candidate at The University of Sydney, and research assistant at Deakin University.

She is involved in studies on parenting, maternal health and infant health, in the Let’s Grow web-based app to support physical activity and play in pre-schoolers; the INFANT program and My Baby Now app roll-out across Victoria; and the Food, Move, Sleep for Postnatal Mental Health home-based intervention with eHealth components, to support postnatal women.
